Foodiverse will manage operations at the Reutlingen and Straelen facilities
Foodiverse and Taylor Farms have completed the acquisition of two production facilities specializing in ready-to-eat salads, previously part of Bonduelle’s fresh produce business in Germany. As part of its operations in Europe, Foodiverse will manage both sites. This strategic move enables the group, with the support of its partner Taylor Farms, to strengthen its position in the German market and drive innovation in the fresh and healthy food sector.
Foodiverse’s Thurländer Salate production center is a leading manufacturer of private-label ready-to-eat salads. Starting April 1, the three German facilities—Straelen, Reutlingen, and Thurland—will operate under the corporate brand Greenfresh. With this acquisition, the Foodiverse group will have a total workforce of 2,650 employees, 9 production plants, and 2,700 hectares of managed farmland.
“Integrating these two plants into our European network reinforces our commitment to innovation and growth in the healthy food sector,” said Joaquín Ballester, president of Foodiverse. “Bringing together all our experience, top talent, and strong innovation capabilities will allow us to continue leading the fresh food sector and delivering the best service to our customers across Europe.”

“With this strategic acquisition, our goal is to revitalize the packaged fresh salad sector and ensure that our customers have access to innovative and healthy products,” said Bruce Taylor, president and CEO of Taylor Farms. “We are excited to serve consumers in Germany and throughout Europe.”
Foodiverse and Taylor Farms stated that this integration will enhance their offering of high-quality, nutritious food that promotes healthy eating habits among consumers. Following the acquisition, job stability will be ensured, and a gradual integration process will be implemented with the support of an international Foodiverse team to ensure a smooth transition.
